FX sets premiere date for 'The League'
Fantasy Football has officially hit the mainstream. The TV channel "FX" is coming out with a new show about a fantasy football league. I just saw a commercial for it for the first time and below is an article I found about it. FX announced its comedy scheduling plans, setting a release date for its new ensemble series "The League."
"The League," about a fantasy football league from producers Jeff Schaffer ("Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Jackie Marcus Schaffer ("Disturbia") will premiere Oct. 29 and run Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. after new episodes of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
The network also announced more details about the scheduling of its two other new comedies. Animated spy series "Archer" will premiere in January, while FX's Louis C.K. comedy "Louie," will debut sometime in the first quarter.
